as you know, the south korea and japan are experiencing conflict about dokdo.
japan had called dokdo dakeshima, assigned dakeshimas day, and taught primary students
in japan about dokdo.
모두들 알다시피, 한국과 일본은 독도를 두고 분쟁하고 있다.
일본은 독도를 다케시마라고 부르며, 독도의 날을 지정하고, 주요 학생들에게 독도는 일본땅이라 가르쳐왔다.
moreover, it is true that japanese primary students recognize dokdo as japanese land.
likewise, the japanese government insists that koreans illegally occupy dokdo because dokdo belongs to japan.
게다가, 많은 일본 학생들이 독도는 정말 일본 영토라고 믿고 있다.
일본 정부는 독도가 일본 영토이기 때문에 한국인들이 지금 독도를 불법으로 점유하고 있다고 주장하고 있다.
let’s now look at the evidences of korean ownership of dokdo.
이제 독도의 주인이 한국임을 보여주는 증거들을 살펴보기로 하자.
1.dokdo is indeed visible with the naked eye from ulleungdo in clean weather.
독도는 맑은 날씨에는 울릉도로부터 맨눈으로 그대로 볼 수 있다.
2.dokdo appeared in early korean documents.
when the silla kingdom conquered usanguk, a small state comprised of ulleungdo and
dokdo in year 512, that dokdo started appearing in official documents.
독도는 고대 한국 문서들에 등장한다.
신라시대 때 우산국 (울릉도와 독도로 구성된 작은 나라) 이 512년 신라에 의해 정복되었으며,
이때부터 공식적인 한국 문서들에 독도가 나타나기 시작한다.
3.even the japan’s meiji government confirmed that dokdo was korean territory.
besides, there is much historical evidence such as documents, papers, maps, etc.
despite the collection of evidences shown above, the japanese government continues to
deny that korea owned dokdo.
심지어 일본의 메이지 정권은 독도는 한국 영토임을 확인하였다.
더하여 많은 역사적 서류 지도 등의 증거가 남아 있다.
이러한 증거의 제시에도 불구하고 일본 정부는 독도가 한국의 영토임을 부인하기를 지속하고 있다.
