jonathan livingston seagull
jonathan livingston was a seagull, who was not ordinary but especial.
Á¶³ª´ÜÀº Ưº°ÇÏÁö ¾Ê°í, ±×Àú Æò¹üÇÑ ¹Ù´Ù °¥¸Å±â¿´´Ù.
what was the ideal that jonathan pursued?
Á¶³ª´ÜÀÌ Ãß±¸ÇÑ ÀÌ»óÀº ¹«¾ùÀ̾ú´Â°¡?
he pursued something special as an ideal, when a crowd of a thousand seagulls screamed and fought for their food.

that was to fly in the sky, more splendid, higher, farther.
±×°ÍÀº Á» ´õ ¸ÚÁö°Ô, ³ôÀÌ, ³Î¸® ÇÏ´ÃÀ» ³ª´Â °ÍÀ̾ú´Ù.
and it was certain that he wanted to feel the genuine freedom with his two wings in the sky.

other seagulls couldnt try to understand him, even his parents.

nevertheless he never give up his dream and did his best to fly more and more.

and i grow conscious of the meaning of life again under the influence of jonathans tough spirit and courage toward his dream.

the life without any aim is exactly a life as good as dead.
¸ñÇ¥°¡ ¾ø´Â »îÀº ²À Á×Àº »î°ú °°´Ù.
its not unlike a flock of the seagulls grappled only for the eating.

sometimes we have weak will, so abandon our precious time just for the mere pleasure of the moment like the ordinary seagulls.

but we have to realize that the idle and worthless moment make the ideal we follow become far away little by little.

jonathan was sometimes eager to gave up his ideal, because he met the many outer resistants and the despair came from the limitation of himself. Á¶³ª´ÜÀº ¶§¶§·Î ±×ÀÇ ÀÌ»óÀ» Æ÷±âÇÏ·Á°íµµ Çß´Ù

he, however, overcame those things, and after all get something learned.   (ÀÌÇÏ »ý·«)
