Korean government is trying to make new policy for foreign nationals in Korea as the number of immigrants into Korea is increasing nowadays. A characteristic of Korea's changing policy is that the social integration for immigrants and Korean nationals is one of main issues following immigration management and residential management for foreigners.The social integration for immigrants and Korean nationals means that the immigrants in Korea is recognized as new regular community component of this society, not those who are scheduled to leave Korea. So, both parties of Korean society need to respect each other and to make society harmonious.This paper reviewed policy environment, law, regulation, institution and policy case related to the social integration policy. As the result of this study, I could find that this policy is very timely-proper policy in the changing time of policy environments. However, I also could find some trials and errors in the social integration policies and the limits of those governmental policies such as not making ultimate goals and visions of these policies.

This paper reconstructs the well-ordered society of Rawls as a common society in that the institution of basic income based on commons is a component. This reconstruction is based on the critical study on the theory of justice of Rawls and its philosophical premises.Through this reconstruction, this paper demonstrates that the institution of basic income based on commons is supported by two principles of justice of Rawls. For the first step of this demonstration, this paper argues that the ownership of the product of the pure effort of one person is the basic right which is acknowledged by the first principle of justice. Based on this, this paper argues that this basic right is possible only in a common society in which equal share for commons is acknowledged.Based on this premise, this paper argues that the basic income based on commons which results from efforts of all is justified by the first principle of justice. Different from this form of basic income, this paper argues that the basic income based on common pool resources and pseudo common pool resources like science and technology can be justified only through the combination of the two principles of justice.Continuously, this paper argues that these two forms of basic income do not conflict with the ¡®reciprocity¡¯ principle of the theory of the justice of Rawls.Furthermore, this paper argues that the well ordered society cannot but acknowledge the unemployed as the least advantaged because this society connot but pursue the constant change of the way of production and the continuos increase of productivity, under the condition of sustainability. In this case, this paper argues, the institution of basic income, especially, that based on commons is a better realization of the theory of justice of Rawls than selective welfare systems. Because the institution of basic income do not damages self respect, especially that of least advantaged. In addition, because this institution can complement the policy of full employment that the well ordered society of Rawls cannot but promote.Furthermore, this institution reinforces the reciprocity between individuals and society. Finally, this institution is more of an ex ante policy for justice than an ex post policy for that. Therefore, this institution is a good policy for property owning democracy that Rawls pursues.

This paper reviews the topics and methodologies of the 334 papers published in the journal, ¡°Health and Social Science¡± for the last 20 years. We conducted classical quantitative content analysis and topic modeling using Structural Topic Model (STM) to identify the topics. The findings of this study were summarized as follows: (1) the social epidemiology research has steadily been increased while the studies on the health-related institutions and policies has been dropped, (2) the quantitative research had grown and consisted of 84% of the total studies by 2012 and dropped to 65%. Throughout the period, the researches on physicians, patients, and hospitals were rarely conducted. The lack of studies on the diseases and the limitations of data collection were remained as one of the major problems to be solved.

As today more relies on information and communication technologies(ICT), such new mobile and online applications becomes popular. But these new applications and ICT services are not all accepted by people for some various reasons. Many new technological breakthroughs are wasted along the way. Thus, we need to provide an integrated view point, reflecting at least two seemingly contrasting spectrum as acceptance vs. resistance on the in the development of ICT applications and services, This paper gives an integrated research model reflecting the two contrasting theories, Technology Acceptance Model vs. Innovation Resistance to test the degree of information system acceptance attitude and mediate effect.The findings of the research shows that perceived usefulness are directly related to IS acceptance attitude. Also, such elements as diversity and comparative advantages are not directly influential toward IT acceptance attitude but a significant factor to innovation resistance on local government users on Social Security Information System(SSIS). To test on mediate effect, perceived usefulness and attitude are partly related to the results. Therefore, we suggest that, based on the our empirical research findings, IS acceptance and resistance are simultaneously considered on ICT development and services.

The first purpose of this study is to show that social norm can be interpreted in a rational way. Contractual perspective is emphasized such that social norm belongs to a (set of) Nash equilibrium realized by individually rational strategies. Maximization over extended time periods (at the individual level) is rendered as the key factor from which the rational character of norm (at the social level) is derived. With the overall rational character, however, we claim that social norm inherently conveys a degree of sub-optimality because of the time consistency problem. The second purpose is to introduce some basic notions about the ¡®rational choice sociology of law¡¯, and to try to compare this approach with the ¡®law and economics¡¯. We discuss about how the Coase theorem can be reinterpreted in terms of social norm, and criticize some limitations of its implications. Each of these points will be discussed in detail both theoretically by using well-defined game-theoretic concepts and empirically by relying on various real life examples including tort principles in the subsequent sections.

The purpose of this study was to provide the implication for multicultural education. To achieve this purpose, multicultural trends in Korean society were reviewed and the basis and goals of multicultural education were examined. and then the management cases of model school were analyzed. by this way, the state of school fields were examined and strategies of multicultural education according to the changing of multicultural society were found out. The subjects in this study were two schools of five areas for multicultural model schools in Province of Gyeongsangbuk-Do. The reports of multicultural education management collected from these schools were analyzed by using literature review method. The conclusions that could be drawn in the aspect of educational contents and methods are as follows: In terms of educational contents, first, adjustment educational programs for children of multicultural families were managed actively. This domain needs to extend with continued attention in the aspects of psychological stability. Second, The organizing community for children of multicultural families, and the understanding education about multicultural families on majorities have been a positive effects for children and parents of multicultural families, and therefore It needs to extend adjustment educational programs continuously. Third, school papers and homepage for public relation need to help the understanding of multicultural families by using multiple language. Fourth, multicultural teaching and learning materials, media that could be used at the subject matter and discretionary activities were required, and training programs and activation of teacher's research association were also needed. Fifth, program management need to extended through the cooperation with other institutions and continued attention. In terms of education method, it is found that separation education and integration education were used equally. Adjustment education for children of multicultural families used separation education, but other areas almost used integration education. That is to consider carefully so as not to occur the pressure that children of multicultural families were felt by being detached and living or the reverse discrimination with other students. Only, separation education should be conducted in the first stage. If it is carried out for a long period, separation education should be converted by integration education because students can show poor attainment in society adaptation and interpersonal relations. In this way, multicultural education methods proposed about the increase of needs for multicultural education by multicultural socialization are as follows: First, it need to recognize difference about other cultures through experience with people who have other cultures. Second, it was not only need to understand other people and have positive self-identity but also have critical thinking and behavior about social prejudice or a fixed idea. Third, multicultural education needs to be extended gradually in schools which children of multicultural families do not exist. Fourth, multicultural education programs that could apply with a sense of the real in most of schools should be developed continuously.

Political economy is a science of the political state concerning civil society (or ¡°society¡± briefly) in view of maximizing the economic efficiency of the latter or ensuring of justice, fairness, equality and/or equity in the latter. Or it is a science that encompasses both the workings of the political state and those of civil society, which is generally dubbed ¡°economic.¡± As such, it provides a perspective which is much broader than those of such ¡°social¡± sciences as sociology, political science, and scientific sub-disciplines in educational studies including sociology of education. Policy study in education, on the other hand, is a form of scientific or quasi-scientific inquiry into what measures or venues are leading to solving specific problems that arise from the system of education in place in a particular country. Since it takes a position of scientific inquiry, or specifically a position of disinterested inquiry, it tends to leave out the political dimension that might be involved in the development or exploration of the measures or venues. In effect, any form of policy study based on the specialized sub-disciplines in educational studies tend to leave out the possibility that the ¡°political¡± state, the owner of the policies developed and implemented with an intention of solving educational problems, is in fact creating new problems and aggravating existing problems or turning its back to necessary political agendas.In this paper, we discuss what sociologists of education have to consider in order for them to make valuable contributions to policy study in education and in developing and implementing educational policies that can actually help improve efficiency in the educational sphere of civil society or ensuring of justice, fairness, equality or equity in that sphere.

The purpose of this study is to research the practical ways to prompt societal marketing. The existent value of societal marketing can be promoted when it is adopted in business activites. This study based on this viewpoint focuses on the practical methods of societal marketing. To practice effectively societal marketing, first of all, several prior conditions for practice must be met. That is, the subjects for this study are as follows, such as marketing, consumer who is most correlated with marketing, government which regulate and promote business marketing activities, and major related institions present preconditions for practicing of societal marketing in organic interrelations. The justification of the pursuit of societal marketing in korea is comparable in the dimension of social change, social demands on business activity and business sequential development. On the basis of it, chapter 2, is about rising background of societal marketing. The contents are consisted of developmental process of the contemporary theory of marketing, exchanging to societal marketing concept, rising of societal marketing, nature and characteristics of societal marketing, and nature and basic theories in ecological marketing. And chapter 3 in this study, analyzed consumerism, quality of life, environment conservation, requlation by law in korea as a background factors of societal marketing. On these bases, as methods for promoting guidelines toward societal marketing, the study of chapter 4 presents 1) development of human oriented marketing, 2) to pactice marketing ethics, 3) practice method by feed-forward system, introducing societal marketing concept to 4Ps(product, price, place, promotion) as a socio-ecological marketing strategy and 4) prompting directions for societal marketing in korea company. As a conclusion, chapter 5, above guidelines are not to be practised separately but to be practised intergrately under organic interrelations. When these are practised intergrately, the effectiveness of each guidelines can be increased. Therefore, korean companies have to expand domain of marketing decision into social and human oriented dimension, practice marketing ethics, adopt feed-forward system into social dimension, introduce societal marketing concept to 4Ps, perform self-aduit, and overcome social myopia of executives. If so, societal marketing will be a better effectively practical way for marketing strategies.
