The purposes of this study we
re to develop a group art therapy program to improve the hope andconnectedness of adolescents and increase their academic resilience and test its effects. For those purposes,the investigator set hope and connectedness as additional factors based on the previous literature studiesand surveys and developed a model for a group art therapy program to promote academic resilience. Themodel was then used to develop a 12-session group art therapy program to increase hope, connectedness,and academic resilience. The developed program was administered to 21 middle school students in G Cityto test its effects. An independent sample t-test was conducted on the pre-scores between the groups foranalysis. The research effects were tested with repeated measures ANOVA. The findings show that thedeveloped program was effective for increasing the academic resilience hope, and connectedness of middleschool students. Based on the findings, the study made proposals for follow-up study and discussed theirimplications.   (ÀÌÇÏ »ý·«)
