The purpose of this study was
to analyze the structural relationships of jobsatisfaction for newly employed junior college graduates. To achieve these results,hypothesized structural model and four modified models were proposed based on bothprevious studies and theoretical supports. This study attempted to answer thefollowing question. What are the structural relationships and influences between theaforementioned variables and job satisfaction. A total of 265 graduates(newemployees) was collected from 3 junior colleges in Busan, Korea responded to fivequestionnaires designed to measure social support, transactional self efficacy,organization commitment, goal orientation, job satisfaction. The results of this studywere as follows. First, social support, showed the direct effects on the job satisfactionof newly employed junior college graduates. Second, there was no mediating effectfrom transactional self efficacy on the relationship between social support and the jobsatisfaction. Third, social support affected job satisfaction through organizationcommitment. Fourth, there was no mediating effect from goal orientation on therelationship between social support and the job satisfaction. Fifth, there was nomediating effect from goal orientation on the relationship between transactional selfefficacy and the job satisfaction. Sixth, social support affected job satisfactionthrough transactional self efficacy and organization commitment. Seventh, there wasno mediating effect from goal orientation on the relationship between organizationcommitment and the job satisfaction. In the model that was finally selected, socialsupport, transactional self efficacy, organization commitment, and goal orientationwere able to explain 75% of job satisfaction.   (ÀÌÇÏ »ý·«)
