The purpose of this study is t
o objectively and quantifiably evaluate and analyze the effects of body weight shift training on children with cerebral palsy while walking. The participants of this experiment were children with spasticity diplegia, spasticity hemiplegia, and ataxia aged 3 to 7 years old. The methods of experimentation were Gross Motor Performance Measures (GMPM) and Gait Rite. The rates of change in GMPM showed 2.5% in the ¡®weight shift¡¯ item, 1.74% in the ¡®coordination¡¯ item, 0.74% in the ¡®alignment¡¯ item, 0.75% in the ¡®dissociated¡¯ item, and 0.5% in the ¡®stability¡¯ item. According to the results of Gait Rite analysis, the effect of weight shift training on H-H base support was highly positive, showing 75% of the change rate. The effect of weight shift training on children with cerebral palsy while walking proved meaningful in each sphere and its change rate of walking elements, such as ¡®step length¡¯, ¡®toe in-out¡¯, ¡®H-H base ¡®support and ¡®cycle time¡¯, and the qualitative development of gross motor performance.   (ÀÌÇÏ »ý·«)
