The purpose of this study was
to apply an eye movement program accompanied by occlusion therapy to cerebral palsy children with a visual defect and to examine how adequate eye movement and vision affect cerebral palsy children¡¯s visual perceptual development. This study applied an eye movement program and occlusion therapy suggested by previous studies to cerebral palsy children with a visual perceptual disorder. Next, participating children were tested whether their visual perceptual functions were improved by the program and therapy using the Motor-free visual perception test (MVPT) and the developmental test of visual perception (DTVP). Among cerebral palsy children with a developmental disorder in visual perception, the experimental group showed higher overall visual perception ability and more improvement in visual perceptual functions than the control group. In addition, the intervention program decreased task performance speed and the neglect function in the Trail Making Test. The eye movement program improved visual perceptual functions in spastic cerebral palsy children with a visual perceptual disorder, but the application of the program together with occlusion therapy increased improvement in visual perceptual functions and developmental functions.   (ÀÌÇÏ »ý·«)
