The purpose of this study is
to develop indices for teacher evaluations for professional development, especially, the indices of principal evaluations. It is to verify the validity and the reliability of the study based on the analysis of statistical methods. These methods are factored analyses, multiple regression analyses and they use Cronbach's a. The major purposes of these studies are (1) To offer the indices for principal evaluations to verify the validity and the reliability, (2) To offer a theoretical basis of growth on behalf of the teacher evaluation system, (3) To contribute to the development of the ability of the principal's job. In order to attain this purpose, the sample of this study is made up of 1000 teachers and principals and vice-principals in primary and secondary school around nation. The result of analyzing the construct validity of the standard by means of exploratory factor analysis was tested and eight factors were extracted. They explained 69% of all variances. Six factors are usable to become the factor loading value; some of those factors are over .30. Six factors are as follows (1) School management and administration, (2) supporting school parents and community relations, (3) supporting teaching and learning surroundings, (4) supporting classroom teaching improvement, (5) supporting improvement of teacher's professional ability (6) supporting extracurricular activities.   (ÀÌÇÏ »ý·«)
