The purpose of this study was
to verify the relationship of the parenting education of multiculturalfamily and the children's elementary school adaptation centered on the home visits by the multiculturalfamily support centers. There were 127 persons as an object of the married mother immigrants in themulticultural family with the elementary school student children who resided in Gyeonggi Province.The results of this research are as follows. First, the more the participation time for the parentingeducation of pregnancy?neonatal periods was the higher average school adaptation and the learningactivity, relation with teachers areas. In addition, this study showed that the more parenting educationtime for the childhood were, the higher school adaptation in average and whole subcategories-schoolregulation, friendship, and teacher relationship. Second, the benefits from the contents of parents growth inparenting education had the significant positive relation of the friendship category in children's elementaryschool adaptation. Third, mothers' age, academic career, SES, job, residence period in Korea and children'ssex relate significantly with School Adaptation in the demographic variables.   (ÀÌÇÏ »ý·«)
