American education gives rise
to public discussion focusing on secondary schools. Therefore the subject of American educational reform is secondary education and teachers' education.The following points are a summary of educational reformative policies established recently by American Educational Administrations and the Board of Education in each state government.First, people in the influential class who insist on the necessity of educational reform are not directors in the educational field but politicians, industrialists and non educational leading class.Second, men of light and leading in the American society recognize more seriously the necessity of sloving the education problems first to increase national power.Third, to reform the teacher' education, a long-term strategy is necessary and all sorts of people should have the common awareness that they need to cooperate.Fourth, improving teachers' quality and reforming the teaching method are focused.Fifth, school days and school hours are expanded.
