We developed a principal lead
ership program based on the principle of constructivism as a case study of school consulting and applied it in SELP, Seoul National University Leadership Development Program.The results of the application of this program are as follows: 1) Principals developed their understanding of union teachers. 2) Principals catched the realities of the school and education. 3) Principals learned some solutions to solve the conflicts between principal and union teachers. 4) Principals established their identity as school leader in this leadership development program for principals. The introduction of the principle of constructivism leave some significances as following: 1) principals could have a chance to experience self-directed learning, 2) the program was practiced in the context of ground, 3) the principals experienced meaningful learning through colleagues, 4) the program was helpful for developing practical leadership, and 5) it was learning experiences being full of life. The introduction of it, however, left some limitation such as unfamiliarity to the traditional way of learning, lack in time and difficulty in connection with implementation.   (ÀÌÇÏ »ý·«)
