The purpose of this study was
construct validity for the measurement tool of transformationalleadership of principals. For this purpose, 171 teachers among 10 public elementary schools and 272teachers among 15 public elementary schools, were selected. Through literature survey, the researcheranalyzed and identified essential factors to measure the transformational leadership of principals. Afterthe literature survey, a questionnaires about transformational leadership of principals were made. Theanswered questionnaires were analyzed using SPSS and AMOS Program. Exploratory factor analysis,confirmatory factor analysis, t-test and one-way Anova were used for the data analysis.As the results, four factors were obtained from the exploratory factor analysis for the measurementtool of transformational leadership of principals. The factors were named as 'respecting teachers','vision presentation', 'raising specificity' and 'making the school culture'. Second, the result of thefactor analysis it was proved that the measurement tool had validity and high Cronbach ¥ávalue(higher than 0.80), which indicated that it is reliable.For the following research, the mixture of qualitative and quantitative methodology will beexpected to conduct actively and complementarily.   (ÀÌÇÏ »ý·«)
