This study is to examine the
relationship among School Organizational Health, PersonalTeacher Efficacy, Collective Teacher Efficacy and Teaching Professionalism. A total of 1260questionnaires were sent out to elementary school teachers of 100 schools in Seoul, Incheon,and Gyeonggi province for the survey. Multiple regression analysis and structural equationmodeling were used.The results of this study were revealed as follows: First, it was showed that schoolorganizational health had more effects on collective teacher efficacy than personal teacherefficacy did. Second, the subject instruction, the guidance, and the interpersonal relationamong personal teacher efficacy's sub-variables had many effects on teaching professionalism.Collective teacher efficacy had a big influence on it, too. Third, it was showed that collectiveteacher efficacy had an explanatory power on personal teacher efficacy's variables. Fourth, itwas showed that school organizational health was slight relatively compared withcause-and-effect relationship among potential variables which had an influence on theteachers' teaching professionalism. Fifth, school organizational health had an indirect effecton teaching professionalism through personal teacher efficacy and collective teacher efficacy.And, it was identified that school organizational health had an indirect influence onpersonal teacher efficacy through collective teacher efficacy. Also, collective teacher efficacyhad an indirect effect on teaching professionalism through personal teacher efficacy. It canbe interpreted that personal teacher efficacy and collective teacher efficacy are importantparameter for explaining the effectiveness of school organizational health on the teachingprofessionalism.
