The purpose of this study is
to analyze the level of improvement of competence for social work professional practice among social work interns and the factors associated with them using the socio-demographic, individual, school, and agency characteristics. Interns who worked for social work related agencies in Jeonbuk area participated in this study. A structured self-administered questionnaire was used, and a total of 350 questionnaires were distributed. The final data included 276. The regression analyses revealed that the respondents¡¯ self-identity and supervision satisfaction were associated with competence for social work direct service. In addition, the respondents¡¯ self-identity and supervision satisfaction were significantly associated with competence for resources mobilization. Based on the study findings, implications for practice to improve competence for social work professional practice for social work interns were discussed. (ÀÌÇÏ »ý·«)
