This study is to find strateg
ies to promote learning outcome in the online learning environment. The problems of this research are: 1. Does the learner\'s perception of a sense of community in online learning environments relate to learning effectiveness? 2. Does the learner\'s perception of learning readiness in online learning environments relate to learning effectiveness? 3. Does the learner\'s perception of a sense of community and learning readiness in online learning environments differ in influence on the learning effectiveness? To solve the problems, this study collected data using the Classroom and School Community Inventory, the Readiness for Online Learning Survey, the Effectiveness for Online Learning Testing from 155 tenth-grade highschool students in an online learning situation. Various data were collected and analyzed by using questionnaires. According to this research, there was significant correlation between the learner\'s perception of a sense of community and learning effectiveness (r = .759, p < .01). The learner\'s perception of learning readiness and learning effectiveness (r = .638, p < .01) appeared to have a statistically significant correlation. Learning effectiveness influenced the learner\'s perception of a sense of community. Between the two subordinate factors of a sense of community, namely, classroom community and school community, the classroom community had more influence than school community on the learning effectiveness. However, learning effectiveness did not influenced the learner\'s perception of learning readiness.   (ÀÌÇÏ »ý·«)
