The purpose of this study was
to analyse the educational needs of elementary school teachers on the teachers\' competencies. In order to achieve the objective, a survey questionnaire was developed which consisted of 19 teachers competencies based on the N.E.I.T. competencies model. This study conducted the questionnaire survey on the perceptions of 327 elementary school teachers in Gyeonggi and Incheon Area. The data were analyzed by using Borich\'s needs assessment formula.
The findings of this study we
re as follows: 1) The perceived importance levels of the teachers\' competencies were higher than those of the current performance levels. 2) Elementary school teachers had the high educational needs on the teachers\' competencies and the highest priority to be developed were different. 3) Elementary school teachers had a different level of
educational needs on the comp
