    Boundary problems between moral education and citizenship education become naturally connected with those between moral education and social studies education, under Korean circumstance that has managed moral education as a separate subject matter. Unfortunately, partial similarities between moral education and citizenship education, between moral education and social studies education have caused serious trouble in moral education, not producing synergy effects in the history of Korean educational curriculum. With an awareness of the issues, the present study tries to clarify the relationship between moral education and citizenship education, the relationship of public morality and citizenship education, boundary problems between moral education and social studies education, scientific backgrounds and teaching methods of citizenship education for moral education in a more detailed manner. Finally, this study emphasizes the importance of \"common ownership and division of roles between moral education and social studies education\" to produce integrated persons who have moral character and good citizenship.   (ÀÌÇÏ »ý·«)
