The purpose of this study is
to examine how the narration is developed in creation myths of Korea and North America Indian, what the meanings, the principles and human ethos are embodied in them.
It is a point of sameness tha
t the narrations are added to show informations-also they include how to preserve the whole creations-of the Creation in two nation¡¯s creation myths. This shows that the creation gods created not only all things, but also fundamental principles.
And the narration movements u
nderlie as the following principles; the creation, the settlement, the discovery by creation gods. Also these tell that the creation is objected by the settlement action, and these two things are again objected by the discovery action. On that point, I think that two nation¡¯s creation myths are telling not in consecutive order but dynamic.
All creation myths show to us
human ethos. As in generally known, all creation myths are invented by human¡¯s own, and reflected human¡¯s thought. Therefore, I try to analyze human ethos in the three principles. As the result, I presented two points; (1) the three principles are explaining of unequal relativities in the whole creations. (2) human¡¯s greatness and ignorance about the whole creations are coexisting in the three principles. (ÀÌÇÏ »ý·«)
