시대의 변화에 따라 교회개척에 헌신하려는 목회자들의 자
세도 변하는 것이 아닌가 우려가 된다. 교회의 분포와 교회개척의 어려운 현실 앞에서 이 시대는 더 이상 교회개척이 필요 없다고 단정 짖는 일부의 사람들도 있다. 그러나 이러한 시대일수록 역으로 더 많은 전문화된 교회가 개척되어야 한다. 시대의 특징들을 보면서 작은 교회들의 역할이 더욱 중요한 시기가 아닌가 라는 생각을 한다. 소그룹형태로 시작되는 교회개척은 발상의 전환만 한다면 얼마든지 성장할 수 있는 방안을 제시할 수 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 작은 소망에서 시작된다. 본 논문에서는 성공적인 교회개척을 위해서 교회성장 방안 2가지를 제시하고 있다.
첫째, 교회개척을 하는 개척목회자의 철저한 준비이다.
교회개척을 통해 성공한 교회들의 공통점은 개척 목회자가 지역에 대한 철저한 조사와 분석을 통해 개척을 준비한 것이다. 도시지역 교회개척을 통해 교회성장을 이루기 위해서는 무엇보다도 분명한 사명감과 철저한 준비가 선행된다. 불분명한 개척의 사명은 교회성장을 위한 가장 큰 걸림돌이 된다. 개척 목회자는 하나님의 소명과 개척에 대한 뜨거운 사명감을 가져야 한다. 둘째, 개척의 준비는 개인의 힘보다는 신학교에서의 교육이 뒷받침되어야 한다. 교회개척을 위한 실제적인 지역조사방법에서 분석된 자료를 근거로 교회개척의 전략을 세우는 것 등의 지식들을 신학교에서 가르쳐야 한다. 개척에 대한 교육의 유무는 교회성장에 많은 영향을 미치게 된다.
교회를 세우는 일은 예수님께서 남기신 사역 중에 가장
중요한 사역 중 하나이다. 교회공동체를 통해 불신자들이 전도되고 양육되어 사역자로 세워져서 온전한 성도로 자라나기 때문이다. 교회개척은 분명한 하나님의 뜻이다. 교회개척을 통해 교회성장을 이룰 수 있는 관건은 얼마나 이 시대에 맞는 관점에서 상황과 복음을 조화하여 교회를 개척하는 것이냐 의 문제이다.

But now is the time where exploration of new specialized churches is needed the most. By looking at the characteristics of today\'s society, I think the role of small churches has grown to become extremely important. With a conversion of the concept of new churches started with small groups, there are many possibilities that could build these churches. This thesis starts with this little hope. It provides two ways to help church grow from pioneering new church
First, the pastor must be tho
roughly ready to pioneer a new church. The similarity of churches that succeeded from pioneering new churches is that the pastor prepared for it through research and analysis of the area. For the churches to succeed in urban settings, pastors must have a sense of duty and thorough preparation. Unclear purpose for planting a new church can become a major stumbling block. The pastor involved in the planting of new church should have God\'s calling as well as passion. Secondly, Preparation for planting new churches should be supported from education from a theological school rather than one\'s own belief. Theological schools should teach students build realistic plans of finding new churches using data from the research of the area. Education of finding new church becomes a huge factor in the church\'s success.
Planting a church is the most
important task Jesus has left us. Unbelievers are delivered and fostered into God\'s children within the church community. Finding new churches is of God\'s will. Successfully developing a church through finding new churches relies on how we connect the gospel and the current society when we find new churches.   (이하 생략)
