after graduating from the mos
cow higher technical school i worked at a plant producing aluminum products for three years as an engineer.when i got married and had children i decided to change my profession in order to have more time for the family, so i graduated from tver state university with a major in philology and english.
for a few years i worked as a
kindergarten teacher and 1st and 2nd grades teacher.after that i worked as an english teacher at the language center.
we taught students of differe
nt ages, starting 5 years old and up to 55 in small groups, using the following textbooks: playway, coast to coast, great ideas, kernel book, interchange, new interchange (including intro), stand out, focus on grammar, north star, side by side, finishing touches, world of fiction, idioms in context, etc.
many of our students entered
language departments of famous universities in russia and got prestigious jobs where the knowledge of the english language was essential.
in october 2004 my family and
i moved to canada.
