am i the only one old enough
to get that reference in the journal program here? this will go down on your permanent record.every time i read that, my brain kicks in with and you can all just kiss off into the air, behind my back i can see them stares, and you hurt me bad, but i dont mind, they all hurt me bad, they do it all the time.yeah yeah.they do it all the time.yeah yeah.
so here i am in newfoundland.
and its kind of known, back home anyway, that i have a bit a reputation for being an obnoxious drunk.by that i dont mean im trouble.i just, get kind of loud, maybe sleep with people i shouldnt, or i cry and get emotional, just that.so on this trip, everyone was bracing themselves (especially as we linkies started drinking at 10am halifax time at the airport during our two hour layover).after all, wendey at disneyland for drunks? *shiver*.
oh and for the record, i have
gotten completely shitfaced.i went to a bar with a very dear old friend i have not seen in ages and we drank until 5am.they closed at 3am then invited us to come drink at the bar.we had pints of beer and white russians (yes, they serve it in pints here) and then they got out the screech.and yes i was a bit drunk and glad i was with someone who i could trust.especially because we were obnoxious and ditched the safety patrol because we were bored.
however.
i have actually gotten an awa
rd as most well behaved drunk on this trip.okay i got beyond drunk and loud, but i did not:
get laid in a bathroom
break stuff
get so loud no one in neighbo
uring rooms could sleep
get the doorman of the hotel
to roll me a joint
have to be escorted from a ba
r and hauled into a paddywagon (i did not know these things actually existed)

itted by linkies but people from other papers).anyway, despite being drunk for literally 24 hours straight at one point, i have been so well behaved that ive been accused of.being old.
and yes, i suppose it is true
.i am just too old for this shit.i mean who would have thought merely getting hammered and not waking up until 1pm the next day would be so normal its for old people?
so, im looking forward to goi
ng back home to montreal.where people drink, but dont say, burn down the house.where people drink, and just chill out and shut the fuck up.where people drink, and maybe have some emotional drama but eventually just pass out and go to sleep.
this place is weird and makes
me feel old.
