during korean war, my father entered the army as student soldier.after being discharged as a master sergeant in gangwon province, he did not go back to seoul, his hometown and settled in choongcheong province and started business.

when i was a child, my fathers business succeeded in transportation company, rice-mill, and rice store as well as taxi firm and we could therefore be brought up in affluent circumstances. my parents who had to give up studying owing to korean war, was dedicated to the education of their 6 children and offer all the possible supports for our graduating from university

unlike my older sister and brother, i lived in choongcheong province, until my 2nd grade of elementary school and it still remains as happy memories in my mind. i have caught dragonfly or grasshopper in ridgeway on the way to school, swum in the river during physical education in the summertime, and had fun on piled sheaf of straw with friends, in fall, to enjoy the natures

when i was 5th grade of elementary school, my parents decided to move to seoul for my education and i could have ordinary school life in seoul, with parents supports and love in my middle and high school days.

i tried my best, but unfortunately i failed in the entrance of university, entered college first. after trying again, i entered hanyang univeristy, to study mechanical engineering

during my university period, in 1993 i had english course in the u. s

to experience foreign life and cultures as well as improve my english skills.

my parents devoted for our 6 children, sisters living in the u. s

and new zealand, brother working as managing director in conglomerate, my wife working for the philippines airline and my lovely daughter, they are all my precious family members. in order to be a proud daughter and sister, i have been trying to do my best every day

i am a positive person with much passion in whatever i do. i try to actively participate in everything, playing a leading role rather than watching it from an objective point of view

i am not afraid of failure and do my best for even difficult and hard jobs with the belief that i can do. also, i maintain good interpersonal relations

sometimes, i feel unfamiliar with making smiling face as sales person, so i try to supplement this point, by trying to how to smile in front of mirror, every morning.
