in conformity with resolutions of the united nations general assembly calling for the conclusion of an agreement on the prevention of wider dissemination of nuclear weapons, , ¿øÀÚ·ÂÀÇ ¹Ì±¹¿¡¼­´Â ÀûÇÕ¼º°ú ÇØ»óµµÀÇ º¸±Þº¸´Ù ³ÐÀº ¹æÁö ÇùÁ¤¿¡ °á·ÐÀÇ È£Ãâ¿¡ ´ëÇÑ À¯¿£ ÃÑȸ ÀÏ¹Ý ¹«±â
undertaking to co-operate in facilitating the application of international atomic energy agency safeguards on peaceful nuclear activities, , ÇÙ Àμö¿¡ ÆòÈ­¿¡ ´ëÇÑ º¸È£ ¿¡³ÊÁö±â±¸ÀÇ ¿øÀÚ ÃËÁøÇÏ¿© ÀÀ¿ë ÇÁ·Î±×·¥À» ±¹Á¦¿¡ °øµ¿ ¿î¿µ È°µ¿
expressing their support for research, development and other efforts to further the application, within the framework of the international atomic energy agency safeguards system, of the principle of safeguarding effectively the flow of source and special fissionable materials by use of instruments and other techniques at certain strategic points, ƯÁ¤ ±â¹ý¿¡ ´Ù¸¥ ¼Ò½º ¹× Ư¼ö Çٺп­ ¹°Áú¿¡ ÀÇÇØ ¾Ç±â »ç¿ëÀÇ Ç¥ÇöÀÇ È¿°úÀûÀ¸·Î º¸È£ÇÏ´Â ¾ÈÀü ½Ã½ºÅÛÀÇ ¿øÄ¢ÀÇ È帧À» ¿¡ÀÌÀü½Ã ¿øÀÚ·Â ±¹Á¦ ±×µéÀÇ ÇÁ·¹ÀÓ ¿öÅ©ÀÇ Ãß°¡ ÀÀ¿ë ÇÁ·Î±×·¥À», ½Ã°£¿¡ ³ë·ÂÀ» ´Ù¸¥ ¿¬±¸ °³¹ß°ú¿¡ ´ëÇÑ Áö¿øÀ» Àü·« Æ÷ÀÎÆ®,

each nuclear-weapon state party to the treaty undertakes not to transfer to any recipient whatsoever nuclear weapons or other nuclear explosive devices or control over such weapons or explosive devices directly, or indirectly; and not in any way to assist, encourage, or induce any non-nuclear-weapon state to manufacture or otherwise acquire nuclear weapons or other nuclear explosive devices, or control over such weapons or explosive devices.°¢°¢ÀÇ ÇÙ ¹«±â ´ç»ç±¹ÀÌ Á¶¾à¿¡ °£Á¢ÀûÀ¸·Î ¶Ç´Â Á÷Á¢ÀûÀ¸·Î ÀåÄ¡¸¦ ¼öÇàÇÏ°íÇÏÁö ¾Ê´Â Àü¼ÛÇÏ´Â ¸ðµç¹Þ´Â »ç¶÷·Îµç ÇÙ¹«±â ¶Ç´Â Æø¹ß¼º ¶Ç´Â ±âŸ ÇÙ Æø¹ß ÀåÄ¡ ¶Ç´Â Á¦¾î ÀÌ»ó°ú °°Àº ¹«±â, ±×¸®°í ÇÏÁö µ½±â¿¡·Î°¡´Â ±æÀ», ±ÇÀåÇϰųª À¯µµ ºñ ÇÙ ¹«±â »óÅÂÀ̳ª Á¦Á¶ ÀåÄ¡¸¦ Ãëµæ ´Þ¸® ÇÙ¹«±â ¶Ç´Â ±âŸ ÇÙ Æø¹ß ÀåÄ¡¸¦ Æø¹ßÇϰųª ¶Ç´Â Á¦¾î ÀÌ»ó°ú °°Àº ¹«±â.

each non-nuclear-weapon state party to the treaty undertakes not to receive the transfer from any transferor whatsoever of nuclear weapons or other nuclear explosive devices or of control over such weapons or explosive devices directly, or indirectly; not to manufacture or otherwise acquire nuclear weapons or other nuclear explosive devices; and not to seek or receive any assistance in the manufacture of nuclear weapons or other nuclear explosive devices.°¢°¢ÀÇ ºñ ÇÙ ¹«±â ´ç»ç±¹ÀÌ Á¶¾à¿¡ °£Á¢ÀûÀ¸·Î ¶Ç´Â Á÷Á¢ÀûÀ¸·Î Æø¹ß¼º ÀåÄ¡ ¶Ç´Â ¼öÇàÇÏ°íÇÏÁö ¾Ê´Â ¹«±â¸¦¹ÞÀ» Àü¼ÛÀ¸·ÎºÎÅÍ ¾çµµÀηεç ÀÌ·¯ÇÑ Á¦¾îÇÒ ¼ö ÇÙ¹«±â ¶Ç´Â ±âŸ ÇÙ Æø¹ß ÀåÄ¡¸¦Çϰųª, ¶Ç´Â Á¦Á¶ÇÏÁö ¾ÊÀ¸¸é ÇÙ¹«±â ȹµæ ¹«±â ¶Ç´Â ±âŸ ÇÙ Æø¹ß ÀåÄ¡ ¹×ÇÏÁö°¡ Ãß±¸Çϰųª ´Ù¸¥ ÀåÄ¡ÀÇ ÇÙ ÆøźÀ̳ª ¹«±â, ¾î¶² µµ¿òÀ»¹ÞÀ» ÇÙ¹«±â¸¦ Á¦Á¶.
article iii Á¦ 3 ¼¼   
1.1.each non-nuclear-weapon state party to the treaty undertakes to accept safeguards, as set forth in an agreement to be negotiated and concluded with the international atomic energy agency in accordance with the statute of the international atomic energy agency and the agencys safeguards system, for the exclusive purpose of verification of the fulfilment of its obligations assumed under this treaty with a view to preventing diversion of nuclear energy from peaceful uses to nuclear weapons or other nuclear explosive devices.°¢°¢ÀÇ ºñ ÇÙ ¹«±â ´ç»ç±¹ÀÌ Á¶¾à¿¡, µ¿ÀÇ ¼öÇàÇÏ°í ¾ÈÀü ÀåÄ¡°¡ µÉ·Î ¸í½ÃµÈ¿¡ °è¾à Çù»óÀÌ º¸È£ ÀåÄ¡°¡ ±â°ü°ú ü°á°ú ÇÔ²² ±¹Á¦ ¿¡³ÊÁö ¿øÀÚÀÇ ±¹Á¦¿¡ µû¶ó ÇÔ²² ¹ý·É ¿øÀڷ±ⱸ ¹× ±â°ü ½Ã½ºÅÛ µð¹ÙÀ̽º ÀÌÇàÀÇ °ËÁõ ¸ñÀû¿¡ ´ëÇÑ µ¶Á¡ÀûÀÎ Æø¹ß ¾Æ·¡ÀÇ Àǹ«¶ó°í »ý°¢ ÇÙ¹«±â ¶Ç´Â ±âŸ ÇÙ ¹«±â¸¦ »ç¿ëÇϴ¿¡¼­ ÆòÈ­ÀûÀ¸·ÎÀÌ Á¶¾à ¿¡³ÊÁö º¼ ¼ö ÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù ¹æÁö¸¦ ºÐ»êÀÇ ÇÙ.procedures for the safeguards required by this article shall be followed with respect to source or special fissionable material whether it is being produced, processed or used in any principal nuclear facility or is outside any such facility.ÀÌ ±â»ç¿¡ ´ëÇÑ ¼ö¼Ó¿¡ ÇÊ¿äÇÑ ¾ÈÀü »ý»êµÇ°í ±×°ÍÀÌ ÀÖ´ÂÁö ¿©ºÎ¸¦ ¼ÒÀçÇÏ¿©¾ß µÉ ´ÙÀ½°ú Á¸ÁßÇÏ´Â ¼Ò½º Çٺп­ Ưº°Çϰųª, ó¸® ¶Ç´Â ÇÙ ½Ã¼³ »ç¿ë¿¡ ±³ÀåÀ̳ª ½Ã¼³ µî ¹ÛÀ¸·Î ³ª°¡ ¾î¶².the safeguards required by this article shall be applied on all source or special fissionable material in all peaceful nuclear activities within the territory of such state, under its jurisdiction, or carried out under its control anywhere.¾ÈÀü ÀåÄ¡´Â ±â¼úÀÌ ÇÊ¿äÇÏ¿©, °üÇÒÀÇ ¸ðµç ¼Ò½º ¶Ç´Â Ư¼ö Çٺп­ ¹°ÁúÀÇ ¸ðµçÇÏ¿©¾ßÀÖÀ» Àû¿ë¿¡ ¿µÅä ³»¿¡¼­ È°µ¿ÀÌ ÆòÈ­Àû ÇÙÀÇ, ±×·¯ÇÑ »óÅ¿¡¼­ ¶Ç´Â ¾îµð¼­µç ÅëÁ¦ÇÏ¿¡ ½Ç½Ã ¹ÛÀÇ.
2.2.each state party to the treaty undertakes not to provide: (a) source or special fissionable material, or (b) equipment or material especially designed or prepared for the processing, use or production of special fissionable material, to any non-nuclear-weapon state for peaceful purposes, unless the source or special fissionable material shall be subject to the safeguards required by this article.°¢ ´ç»ç±¹Àº Á¶¾àÀÇ ¹«±â°¡ ¾Æ´Ñ ¼öÇàÇÏ°í Á¦°ø : () ¼Ò½º ¶Ç´Â Ư¼ö Çٺп­ ¼ÒÀç, ¶Ç´Â (b) Àåºñ ¶Ç´Â ÀڷḦ À§ÇØ Æ¯º°È÷ Áغñ¸¦ ¼³°èÇϰųª °¡°ø, Ư¼öÀÇ »ç¿ë ¶Ç´Â »ý»ê Çٺп­ ÇÙ ¼ÒÀç, ¾î¶² ºñ ÁÖ ¸ñÀûÀ¸·Î ÆòÈ­, Á¦ ¾Ê´Â ¼Ò½º ¶Ç´Â Ư¼ö Çٺп­ÀÌ ¿ä±¸ÇÏ´Â ÀڷḦ º¸È£ÇÏ¿©¾ß ÇÒ ´ë»ó.
3.3.the safeguards required by this article shall be implemented in a manner designed to comply with article iv of this treaty, and to avoid hampering the economic or technological development of the parties or international co-operation in the field of peaceful nuclear activities, including the international exchange of nuclear material and equipment for the processing, use or production of nuclear material for peaceful purposes in accordance with the provisions of this article and the principle of safeguarding set forth in the preamble of the treaty.¾ÈÀü ÀåÄ¡´Â ±â¼úÀÌ ÇÊ¿äÇÏ¿©, Á¶¾à Á¦ 4ÇÏ¿©¾ß µÉ ±â¼úÀ» ÁؼöÇÏ´Â ±¸Çö¿¡¼­ ¼³°èÇÏ´Â ¹æ½ÄÀÌ Æ÷ÇÔ È°µ¿ ºÐ¾ßÀÇ ÆòÈ­Àû ÇÙÀÇ ´ç»ç±¹ ¶Ç´Â ±¹Á¦ Çù·ÂÀÇ ±â¼ú °³¹ßÀ̳ª ÇÇÇÏ hampering °æÁ¦¿¡ ´ëÇÑ ±¹Á¦ °¡°ø Àç·á ¹× Àåºñ¿¡ ´ëÇÑ ÇÙ ±³È¯ÀÇ »ç¿ë ¶Ç´ÂÀÇ ¿øÄ¢°ú ±â¼úÀÌ Á¶Ç×°ú ¼ÒÀç »ý»êÀ»À§ÇÑ ÇÙÀÇ ÆòÈ­Àû ¸ñÀû¿¡ µû¶ó Á¶¾àÀÇ ¼­¹®¿¡ ¸í½ÃµÈ º¸È£ ¼³Á¤ÇÕ´Ï´Ù.
4.4.non-nuclear-weapon states party to the treaty shall conclude agreements with the international atomic energy agency to meet the requirements of this article either individually or together with other states in accordance with the statute of the international atomic energy agency.ºñ ÇÙ ¹«±â ¹Ì±¹ ÆÄƼ´Â Á¶¾à¿¡ ´ëÇÑ ±¹Á¦ ¿øÀڷ±ⱸ ¿¡³ÊÁö ÇùÁ¤À» ü°áÇÏ¿©¾ßÇÑ´Ù¿Í ±¹Á¦ ¹ý·É¿¡ µû¶ó ÇÔ²² ¿øÀڷ±ⱸ¿¡ÀÌ ÃæÁ·ÀÇ ¿ä±¸ »çÇ×À» ´Ù¸¥ ¹Ì±¹°ú ÀÚ·á °³º°ÀûÀ¸·Î ¶Ç´Â ÇÔ²².negotiation of such agreements shall commence within 180 days from the original entry into force of this treaty.Çù»óÀº ÇùÁ¤ Á¶¾à µîÀÌ ³»¿¡ÇÏ¿©¾ßÇÑ´Ù ¼Ò°¢ÀÇ ÁøÀÔÀ¸·Î °­Á¦·Î ¿ø·¡ºÎÅÍ 180 ÀÏ.for states depositing their instruments of ratification or accession after the 180-day period, negotiation of such agreements shall commence not later than the date of such deposit.ÀÌ·¯ÇÑ ÇÕÀÇ¿¡ ´ëÇÑ Çù»óÀ» Áß, ÀÏ ±â°£ ºñÁØ ¹Ì±¹ ÀÔ±Ý ÀÚ½ÅÀÇ ¾Ç±â¸¦ ¶Ç´Â 180 °¡ÀÔ ÈÄ ÀÔ±ÝÇÏ¿©¾ßÇÑ´Ù ÀÌ·¯ÇÑÀÇ ³¯Â¥º¸´Ù ³ªÁß¿¡ ½ÃÀÛ ¾ø½À´Ï´Ù.
such agreements shall enter into force not later than eighteen months after the date of initiation of negotiations.ÀÌ·¯ÇÑ °è¾à Çù»óÀ» ÀÔ·ÂÇÑ´Ù¿¡ °­Á¦·Îº¸´Ù ³ªÁßÀÌ ¾Æ´Ï¶ó °³½Ã ³¯Â¥ ÀÌÈÄ 18 °³¿ù.

1.1.nothing in this treaty shall be interpreted as affecting the inalienable right of all the parties to the treaty to develop research, production and use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes without discrimination and in conformity with articles i and ii of this treaty.Á¶¾àÀÌ ¾Æ¹«°Íµµ ¿¬±¸ °³¹ß¿¡ Á¶¾àÀÇ ¸ðµç ±Ç¸®¸¦ ¾çµµÇÒÀ¸·Î ¿µÇâÀ» Çؼ®ÇÒ ÁÙ °ÍÀÔ´Ï´Ù ´ç»ç±¹, »ý»ê ¹× ÇÙ ¿¡³ÊÁö »ç¿ëÀÇ ¸ñÀûÀ¸·Î ¹®¼­¿¡ ´ëÇÑ Â÷º°À»ÇÏÁö ¾Ê°í ÆòÈ­ÀûÀ¸·Î ¼øÀÀÇÏ°í i ¹× ii Á¶¾àÀÌ.
