[ÇØ¿Ü³í¹®]

In the context of visiting friends and relatives (VFR), this paper explores how migrants¡¯ hosting of friends and relatives affects the formation of a sense of place in the receiving country. Based on the literature review about the sense of place of migrants and VFR hosting, this study integrates these two research s treams. Korean migrants in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, a re the study subjects. Individual in-depth interviews were conducted to explore the formation of the sense of place of the migrants through VFR hosting. Narrative analysis was conducted to interpret how the interviewees constructed their experiences that led them to form a sense of place. The results show that the formation of a sense of place is importantly influenced by their experiences in Vietnam that enable them to feel a sense of ¡®home¡¯ there. The hosting processes including preparing for hosting and spending time with the guests in Vietnam enable the hosts to build a sense of both ¡®home¡¯ and ¡®away¡¯ through experiencing new about Vietnam and rediscovering their everyday space. This study is significant in that it discovers the formation processes of a sense of place through the lens of VFR and in the context of Vietnam.

In the context of visiting friends and relatives (VFR), this paper explores how migrants¡¯ hosting of friends and relatives affects the formation of a sense of place in the receiving country. Based on the literature review about the sense of place of migrants and VFR hosting, this study integrates these two research s treams. Korean migrants in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, a re the study subjects. Individual in-depth interviews were conducted to explore the formation of the sense of place of the migrants through VFR hosting. Narrative analysis was conducted to interpret how the interviewees constructed their experiences that led them to form a sense of place. The results show that the formation of a sense of place is importantly influenced by their experiences in Vietnam that enable them to feel a sense of ¡®home¡¯ there. The hosting processes including preparing for hosting and spending time with the guests in Vietnam enable the hosts to build a sense of both ¡®home¡¯ and ¡®away¡¯ through experiencing new about Vietnam and rediscovering their everyday space. This study is significant in that it discovers the formation processes of a sense of place through the lens of VFR and in the context of Vietnam.

Recently, as the number of IoT (Internet of Things) devices for personal or home intelligence increases, the need for unified control and cooperative utilization is required. This paper presents a novel idea, proposes methods for virtualizing Internet of Things (IoT) devices and hosting them on the home AP instead of relying on a cloud service or purchasing a new device to do so. For this, the process and profile of the IoT gadgets need to be virtualized into JavaScript-based objects. Then, to execute and control the instances of the virtualized IoT objects on the wireless AP, a novel instance management method and their interfaces are designed. The implementation and performance section demonstrates the proposed system's stability and operability by showing the stress test results while the wireless AP is running for its wireless routing.

Related with the contract of electronic commerce, in early time, the contract theories were studied mainly. But after legislating of ¡¸Act on the Consumer Protection in the Electronic Commerce Transactions, Etc(ACPECTE)¡¹ and special laws, it is not animated to study about theory of civil law and make the concept. These passive activities brought the result that though in many cases though it can apply to the field by theory and interpretation of civil law, there are another way to establish the special laws. Especitally, the liability of involved people of electronic commerce is the typical case to show this situation.The involved people of electronic commerce are mail order broker, electronic settlement business operator, delivery business operator, hosting business operator, etc and though there are some regulations in the ACPECTE for giving the liabilities and duties to these parties, not only it is difficult to deal every problems of parties, but also it tends to leave about the liability of hosting business operators because there is no any law for controling them.So, in this study, it was considered under the aspect of civil law and special law about the liability and legal status of hosting business operators. Hosting business operators are electronic commerce operators and direct parties in the relationship with user operators who are intended to use the service of hosting business operators.As direct parties, the contract liability of civil law gives hosting business operators not only obligation of contract but also attend-duty and duty of care of a third party. Therefore hosting as the involed operators of electronic commerce have the duty of compensation of the damages of the third party under breaching of the duty of attention and care of them.

The federal courts in the U.S.A. have focused upon the knowledge of the online file servers in determining whether they are indirectly liable for their users¡¯direct infringement of the copyrights. One of the requirements under DMCA Section 512(c) for a file hosting server to satisfy in order to qualify for Safe Harbor protection is that the server must establish that it does not have actual knowledge that material on its network is infringing, or ¡°awareness or facts or circumstances from which the infringing activity is apparent,¡±which the federal courts have referred to as ¡°red flag¡± awareness standard.Further, if a file hosting server obtains actual or apparent knowledge, then it should act ¡°expeditiously to remove, or disable access to, the infringing material in order to qualify for the DMCA Á¦ 512(c) safe harbor. The federal courts have held that actual knowledge is a subjective standard that requires the server to know that specific material is infringing. Red flag knowledge, in contrast, is an objective standard that requires the server to have knowledge of circumstances that make it clear that specific material isinfringing.On the other hand, Korean Supreme Court approaches the liability of the online service provider in terms of whether a certain service provider belongs to a special type of online service where the online infringing activities are prevalent. If an online service provider is considered as the special type of online service, then the provider can become liable for copyright indirect infringement as negligent accessory offender regardless of its awareness of the infringing activities. Further, this approach does not focus on the actual knowledge or red flag knowledge of the online service provider in determining the provider¡¯s infringement liability, and thus can have a chilling effect upon the free flow of online information.
