The primary problem of having
more car owners in developing countries is that it could can cause air pollution. Vehicles are notorious for releasing emissions into the air, and large quantities of emissions produced by cars could result in the deterioration of air quality. Thus, growing numbers of car owners in developing countries could jeopardise the environment as toxic gases that are released by vehicles contribute significantly to air pollution. For example, The Korea Times reported that the main reason as to why countries, such as China, has have low quality air is because a countless number of people opt to travel by their car instead of using public transportation.
