i registered for the universi
ty entrance examination held last sunday and my candidate number is 7777.i am writing to apologize for missing your examination and to request another opportunity to take the exam.
first of all, i would like to
explain why i did not attend the exam on time.as you know, the subway employees have been on strike these days, and i am also affected by this state of affairs.furthermore, i am dependent for transport on the public transportation, especially on the subway, since i live in a quite remote place from your university.thus i tried to take a bus to get to your university but there was heavy traffic on the road, which i did not expect.
for the above reasons, i was
a little late about 20 minutes on the morning of the 15th of january, and could not enter the room because your examiner stopped me.
i would like to apologize aga
in for missing the exam and to request your understanding of my situation.i hope you can give me an alternative date for this examination and i am available from 20th to 30th january.
